June 14, 2005 - Bragel is suing Telebrands for willful infringement

In February 2005, Bragel sued Telebrands in federal court in Los Angeles for willful infringement of a patent for Bragel's revolutionary NuBra and for unfair competition. Although Bragel has attempted to negotiate a resolution of this dispute, Telebrands continues to sell its copy of Bragel's patented product. As alleged in Bragel's complaint, Telebrands is competing unfairly by knowingly selling its infringing product. Telebrands sells its product which is made in China at a price which undercuts the price for Bragel's NuBra which is made in the United States, As a result, Bragel is seeking an award of multiple damages to compensate it for the injury it has suffered as a result of Telebrands' acts and an award of punitive damages to punish Telebrands and to deter others from knowingly infringing Bragel's patent rights.
