LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, Nov. 12, 2004, Judgment has been entered in favor of Bragel International, Inc, Producer of the extremely successful NuBra strapless bra, and against NY Intimates, Inc. for patent infringement. Bragel is the owner of United States Patent 6,758,720 entitled "Attachable Breast Form Enhancement System. The patent is embodied in the NuBra brassiere, which is a unique strapless bra that is self-adhesive and reusable.

Bragel sued NY Intimates in federal court in Los Angeles alleging that NY Intimates was selling a product that was a duplicate of Bragel's patented product. The Court found that NY Intimates has willfully infringed the patent and has permanently enjoined NY Intimates from making, distributing, selling, or importing any product, which infringes Bragel's patent. As stated by David Chen, Bragel's president, "We hope that this decision sends a clear message to all those who seek to trade On the success of our product-- that we are prepared to enforce our rights and the courts understand the importance of patent rights." Further proceedings remain to be scheduled to determine the amount of monetary relief to be awarded to Bragel as a result of NY Intimates' infringement including the award of multiple damages and attorney fees.
